At a meeting held Bendoc School on the July 18 1985 between Bendoc and Bonang Brigades was the first meeting of the Mt. Delegate Group.

Representatives from the Delegate and Craige Brigades and Kapunda Development Company (Pine Plantation) were present with a view to affiliation with the group.
Meeting held at the Delegate Country Club on the 22nd December 1987 saw the resignation of John Bick as secretary. Ray Newnham was nominated by Peter Richardson and seconded by Jan Groves.
DGO C. Belcher resigned and Andrew Newnham was nominated by Ray Newnham and seconded by Peter Richardson.
