Expression of Interest Sought
from East Gippsland Shire Council
The East Gippsland Shire Council is calling for “Expressions of Interest” from suitably qualified organisations/and or individual community members to provide a range of services for Council in the Bendoc, Bonang and Tubbut areas.
Services required include the following:
Plumbing services
Electrical services
Building services (general maintenance); and
Toilet cleaning
All interested organisations and community members are invited to submit “Expressions of Interest” which document their qualifications, experience and skills in the appropriate service areas.
Note that in order to be considered, organisations and/or community members must be able to provide an Australian Business Number (ABN) and bank account details.
“Expressions of Interest” must be received by close of business Friday, 20 July 2001.

Trial Bus Run Starts
The bus service from Tubbut to Bombala will start Friday 29 June. The first run will be free of charge as a promotion of the service. Jan and Malcolm Ingram are encouraging the community to embrace this service which will operate on a monthly basis.
The bus service is being funded between Bombala Council (NSW) and the East Gippsland Shire Council (Vic) to provide for the community a service that is void in this region.
“The service will only work if the community uses it” said a spokesperson for the service.

This service will help those who could not otherwise connect to medical, personal and the opportunity to see what is happening down the road.
