The Charcoalition has a news list. Anyone can join. With this service you can receive the latest news, information about the campaign, web site updates and important events.

How many messages will I get from the list?
Depending on events at the time, from 1 to 5 messages a week

How do I reply to a message on the list?
If you reply to a message from the list, your message will be directed to the Charcoalition, not everyone on the list.

Who manages the list?
The Charcoalition List Manager is responsible for this. Anyone can subscribe to the list. The List Manager will moderate the list content (that means control content).

What may the Charcoalition List Manager do?
(1) unsubscribe any subscribed email address without notice (this would only occur if a person attempted to send persistent and inappropriate messages).
(2) disallow posting of any message on the list

Can I get computer viruses from this list?
The computer used to send messages to the list is protected with the latest version of VET™ Antivirus software. But the Charcoalition recommends that any computer that uses the internet, a network, or reads files from floppy disks or other removable media should have antivirus software installed. It is equally important that if you do have antivirus software installed, that it is updated regularly..

Is my email address secure?
Yes, it is secure:
(1) Your email address will not be visible to any list recipients unless a message from you is allowed to be posted on the list

(3) The Coastwatchers Association Incorporated and Charcoalition will not divulge your address to any third party.

(4) If the List is of no further relevance then it will be deleted.

Temporary absence
If you want to leave the list for a period of time you need to unsubscribe, then resubscribe when you are ready to start receiving messages again.
