29 December 2001
A person visiting a Mogo shop this week enquired about the charcoal plant status and was told confidently that it would not go ahead because the council had opposed it. This message is not what should be given to people. The State Government could still approve the development regardless of council's stance.

We caution stongly against being complacent and making assumptions like the above. We must vigorously continue our campaign until there is an official decision. Please pass this caution on to others.
