15 March 2002 He has spoken to a rural property owner from Braidwood. He is prepared to give land for the charcoal plant which is free of charge except for their payment of rates. Councillor Brown indicated his enquiries of the Council there supported the proposal. Can this Council consult with this property owner so that if people in the Braidwood area want it they can have it. Councillor Brown provided details of the owner to the Director, Environment, Planning and Administrative Services, to follow up. The Director, Environment, Planning and Administrative Service, advised he would contact the owner and report back to the committee, indicating the offer should be checked through Tallaganda Council and referred to ASPL and planningNSW. |
