You should receive a response if you write to a politician. If you get an unacceptable response, write again.
Let them know that this is an outrageous decision.
State your total opposition to building a charcoal factory, logging south coast forested catchments for charcoal and electricity generation, and the huge increase in heavy truck traffic on narrow country roads including the Clyde Mountain (logging trucks will still use the Kings Highway); and your support for the use of alternative silicon smelting technologies such as CSIRO's Ultra Clean Coal and plantation timber.
Write to the new leader of the opposition Mr John Brogden - he has expressed his opposition to the Charcoal Plant proposal - let's support his view & confirm the majority do not want this Charcoal Plant
Concerned parents - write to the Minister for Education
Complain to the Police Minister about road safety issues.
