Professor Bruce Thom

Professor Thom is a member of the Wentworth Group of Concerned Scientists; Emeritus Professor, University of Sydney; and Visiting Professor, Faculty of Built Environment, University of NSW.  He is also the Former Chair of the NSW Coastal Council and of the Australian State of the Environment Committee; Former Vice Chancellor of the University of New England; and Former Pro-Vice Chancellor, University of Sydney. Professor Thom has expertise in coastal management, coastal land use planning, geomorphology and coastal ecology and has published widely on climate change, environmental and coastal issues.

The title of Professor Thom’s speech is:
 ‘Meeting the Challenges of Climate Change on the Coast’
