HUNGRY FOR MAGIC

Some people walk this land with heavy tread
Try to catch the rainbow, name shooting stars
She say to he
How big is your cage?
She say to he
Trust your instinct not your rage

As a little child
They sneer and mock her
But secretly they are hungry for magic
Hungry for magic

Some people draw a line, 'tween inner worlds and out
The line is drawn of chalk in thunderstorms
She say to he
Do not judge what you don't know
She say to he
You must be born before you grow
She say to he
Remember what you owe

As a young girl
She sews her disguise
Protects her from those who are hungry for magic
Hungry for magic

Some people cannot see the cloaks of light
Hear not the feasting scene, the flower's song
He say to her
There is envy in their sighs
He say to her
Do not let them bleed you dry
He say to her
Hone your blade and sparks will fly
He say to her
Go on baby stroke the sky

As a woman
She throws off her shrouds
Dazzles the senses of those who are hungry for magic
Hungry for magic
