An outlaw love story

This is a true story of a woman caught between two worlds. Living on the frontier, Mary Ann can only find the love she needs in the arms of a criminal named Fred Ward, better known as the singing bushranger, Thunderbolt. Fred and Mary Ann's relationship (and their growing family) threatens their survival, even as it sustains them. Ultimately their love proves strong enough to withstand prejudice, betrayal, and even death.
