Annual Competitions
Throughout the year we run an annual competition in both ANSA and GFA divisions. The points accumulate over the twelve months and at our Presentation Night the winner of each division is presented with a trophy.
Perpetual trophies are awarded to Club Champion Senior, Club Champion Junior and Club Sub-Junior Champion. Each winner receives a shield and the actual trophies remain on permanent display at the clubhouse.
Weigh sheets for this competition must be received in the office no later than the 7th day of the following month - ie: sheets for December must be in by 7 January. Sheets must be posted or hand delivered. Faxed sheets are accepted. Members are reminded that Men and Ladies need a minimum score value of 50, Juniors (10 to 15 yrs) 35, Sub-Juniors (9 and under) 18 points.
We run a 12 monthly Bottom Bashers competition ending 30 June. It is held the second Sunday of the month. Fishing begins at midday Saturday with weigh-in at 1.00pm Sunday. There is no line class restriction and fishing includes bluewater, rock, beach and estuary. A BBQ follows the final weigh-in. On the day individual prizes can be won by sub-junior, junior, ladies and seniors. The points won each Bottom Bashers accumulate during the twelve months and go towards annual trophies awarded at our Presentation Night in August.
